Movie Tie-In Covers: Why We Need to Stop Hating

It seems that the thing to do when a movie comes out that’s based on a book is to create a new cover that reflects the movie and the characters in it. I’ve never really been a big fan of these movie tie-in covers, so I never really understood why they were so popular. I guess I figured people who preferred the movie covers to the originals were just people who only knew about the book because they watched the movie. The kind of people who were only going to imagine the characters as the movie ones and never do any imagining of their own. And then I realized it doesn’t matter.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books To Read or Not To Read

One week of actually being on time with TTT is pretty good right? Oh well, this Wednesday the Broke and Bookish made the Top Ten Tuesday list Top Ten Books I’m Not Sure I Want to Read. It’s actually Tuesday! Yay for being on time for the first time ever! Today’s Top Ten Tuesday brought to you by the Broke and Bookish, is Top Ten Books I’d Give to Readers Who Have Never Read X. Now the X gives me a lot of wiggle room to decide.
