Hi everyone! My name is Erika and I am the new owner of this blog (if you hadn’t noticed before it used to belong to the library I worked at). What you just read is my favourite quote from any book I’ve ever read. I know what you’re thinking, how could I possibly pick just one. I don’t know. I think it picked me.

Something I cannot pick just one of though, is books themselves. I am an avid reader and aspiring writer and I have so many favourites they would probably fill up this page. I have, however, been able to narrow down my faves for movies (Titanic), TV shows (Game of Thrones), songs (How to Save a Life by the Fray) and book genre (YA and Dystopian). Feel free to comment on or ask me about my favourites below!

Currently I am a student of Communications, but please don’t ask me what I’m going to do with that degree when I graduate. It’s not that I don’t know, it’s that I think I’ve explained what that is and how it can be used about a million and a half times. You can probably Google it.

Enough about myself though, let’s talk about the blog. I started this blog when I was working as a summer student for my local library, and amazingly it started doing pretty well. Unfortunately it wasn’t working the way the library wanted it to (for patrons to post and read reviews) so I stole it. Actually I had permission but still, it’s mine now.

I’m going to be posting, as often as I can, reviews, opinions and lists on all kinds of books, movies, TV shows and occasionally music that I hope readers and watchers will be able to appreciate.

P.S. My dirty little secret? I’ve never actually read Great Expectations. (Don’t shoot! It was named this for library purposes and I didn’t want to change it)
